Dr. Holland is a licensed psychologist with expertise in using evidence-based treatments for individuals coping with challenging medical conditions, in addition to mood, anxiety, trauma, adjustment, relationship, and substance use difficulties. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology in 2016 and master’s degree in counseling and clinical health psychology in 2011 from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. During this time, she trained in multiple primary care clinics, an interdisciplinary clinic treating patients with multiple sclerosis, and received 2 years of training at the Center for Cognitive Therapy at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Holland completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship training at Cherokee Health Systems (CHS) in Knoxville, TN, where she specialized in behavioral health consultation in a primary care clinic. She remained on staff at CHS for an additional 3 years where she served on the training committee and supervised pre-doctoral practicum and post-doctoral students. She has also enjoyed a consultation role for a healthcare quality improvement organization, professional medical associations, and healthcare organizations in various states where she has provided trainings on integrated care, Motivational Interviewing, and chronic pain management.
