Brittney Fraker, APRN

Brittney is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of experience working in the mental health field. Brittney has extensive experience working with children age 5 and older and adults throughout the lifespan. Having worked in several different settings, Brittney is knowledgeable about the various continuums of care across mental health services in the greater Knoxville area. 

Brittney has a special passion for working with youth and adolescents as well as people with Autism and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.  Brittney’s special areas of interest include ADHD, Autism, and neurodivergence, and is also knowledgeable and skilled in treating major depression, mood disorders, anxiety related disorders, PTSD, learning disabilities, insomnia, self-harming behaviors, and suicidal ideations, as well as trauma/neglect/abuse issues, and more. 

Brittney is a talented diagnostician who values the person’s lived experience and works to collaborate with patients and families for the best therapeutic outcomes with a team approach; sometimes referring to other supportive mental health services such as therapy, etc. Brittney believes in adopting a holistic approach using established evidence-based practices to treat mental health conditions. She offers a non-judgmental and safe space for treatment and provides LGBTQ-and gender-affirming care.
