About me
Dr. Oglesby has doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology (2006) and in Exercise Science (1994) from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville followed by a Post-Doctoral Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Special interest areas are cognitive behavioral treatment of insomnia/sleep related disorders and life issues of older adults including neurocognitive functioning. She is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the Society of Sleep Behavioral Medicine, and is a Diplomate in Behavioral Sleep Medicine. Dr. Oglesby’s earlier career as a physical therapist informs her belief in the bidirectional nature of physical and mental health and guides case conceptualization. As a military veteran herself, she was honored to train and volunteer as a Military Reconnection Facilitator for the Red Cross serve her community as a Red Cross Disaster Mental Health volunteer.
