Teresa Pratt is a licensed clinical social worker with specialized experience in geriatrics and human-animal bond issues (pet loss, compassion fatigue, treatment for animal abuse). She earned her master of science in social work from the University of Tennessee in 2007 and also completed a graduate certificate in gerontology during that time.
She has worked in a variety of settings including a partial hospitalization program for older adults experiencing mental health issues and/or mild cognitive decline, veterinary social work through the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, and CMH outpatient clinics. While having experience with all age ranges, she currently sees individuals 16 years and older, couples and older adults.
